Celebrating Zay Beauty | Day 2| Bloom Blush in Pink Chai- Review & Swatch

We are on day 2!! Just being able to write this makes me feel so good. Writing 2 days in a row is just so satisfying. Today I am going to cut it short and jump right on the review! Today we are going to talk about the Bloom Blush in Pink Chai and I am going to tell you why its got me so obsessed with cream blushes.

My Experience :

Zay Beauty Bloom Blush-Pink Chai

The Zay Beauty Bloom Blushes come in a small plastic packaging with a twist open cap and a doe foot applicator. The brand has stayed true to its theme and gave us a very pretty pink packaging along with the desi names as always. The blush comes in three color variants : Pink Chai, Peach lassi and Shahi Rose. I chose to try out the Pink Chai because it felt the safest bet and I am so happy that I tried this one first.

Pink Chai may look very scary in the bottle as its a very bright pink but once applied and blended it gives the most beautiful flush of natural pink there is! The formula is mousse like and blends seamlessly into the skin. The texture is soft and slippery that doesn’t tug on your skin when being applied. Also it takes its sweet time to set so there is no rush to blend it swiftly. You can take your time to blend it. The applicator is just perfect for the product as it dispenses just the right amount.

I recommend using small amount at one time and build it up gradually as you please. Two dots of product on each cheek give a very nice natural looking flushed look. As mentioned earlier, it is easily bendable, the choice of tool is entirely up to you however I personally prefer using fingers to blend it. Once blended in, it just sets in place and then it literally just sits there the whole day until you take it off. If you top it with a power, the longevity increases even more. For me, without using the setting powder, this lasted me a good 5 hours in sun and running around and I could still see it when taking off my make up.

Swatch :

All in all, I think its one amazing blush. I really couldn’t find anything negative about it and it has made me fall in love with cream blushes for now. One thing that I can say is that it cannot be used on lips because 1. It isn’t pigmented enough to show up on lips, you need to layer it up 2. I sets into the lines of lips and doesn’t really look flattering. Other than that you can even use it on your eyes to achieve that monochromatic look. If you are looking for a nice cream blush to try, this is definitely the one to consider.
