Can you tell I am on the hunt for perfect drugstore foundation for myself. Already have tried the LA Girl Pro Matte & Illuminating foundations , the MakeupRevolution fast base stick & Conceal & Define foundations, also the Wetnwild Photofocus Foundation but the hunt never ends. My Experience :

The Bourjious Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation comes in a clear glass bottle with pump dispenser which I absolutely love especially for this foundation because of its consistency. The cap secures nicely and I feel it’s travel friendly for sure. The packaging gets a 10 on 10 from me, its sleek, its beautiful and has all the details mentioned on the bottle.

The consistency is quite liquidy and runny and it spreads evenly when worked into skin. The coverage is sheer but is fairly buildable without looking cake or over done. The finish of the foundation is very luminous and stays true to its name that it instantly takes your dry, dull skin to a healthy, well hydrated, luminous looking within a minute or two. There is a mild vanilla fragrance to the foundation which is very pleasant and doesn’t sting or gets annoying and also fades away within a few minutes.
Now, since this foundation has a very dewy finish, its perfectly suited for dry skinned beauties or for those who have dry skin in the winters. In summers, dry skin people can still use it but if you have oily skin, sadly this one isn’t for you. This foundation doesn’t settle in the fine lines and pores and needs to be set with powder to make it stay in place for a longer period of time. Without powder it fades away quite fast and also trasfers.

Also since it has a sheer coverage it wouldn’t be wise to expect coverage of blemishes or any marks on your face.
The formula of the foundation is very liquidy, so I suggest you use a dense buffing brush like Sigma F80 or a paddle brush to blend it because the beauty sponges tend to soak up alot of product.  It isn’t a foundation that I would reach out for a formal event or a wedding where there is harsh lighting and I need my foundation to stay put for longer durations or in summers while going to an outdoor event where I am sure to sweat out and wipe my face. But for daily wear and during winters this foundation is my go to because of the smoothness and instant plump feel gives to my skin, staying good for about 7-8 hours without touching up but after being set with powder.
All in all, its a great foundation and I reach out to it quite alot because of its beautiful finish and instant hydrating effect it gives my skin. I would totally recommend you guys, especially with dry skin to do check it out, you are going to love it!
